Wesman - FMS Stand Ifex 2009

Wesman's Foundry Equipment Division has just concluded a very successful participation at IFEX 2009 held at Science City from Feb 3rd to 5th 2009, during the 57th Indian Foundry Congress.

Wesman had a large 220 square metre stall right in front of the exhibition entrance where many of the Wesman - FMS new equipment was on display, including a:-

• Wesman - FMS -WRO-1000 rollover
• Wesman-FMS low-level reclamation system.
• Wesman - Simpson MC-50 multicooler.
• A small-scale model of the Wesman-Taft EcoMelt

cokeless cupola with burners and spheres was also on display and generated considerable interest.

Despite the current industrial downturn there was a good visitor turnout, and Wesman's prime location combined with the large amount of equipment on display ensured that the stall was busy and full of visitors at almost all times. As a result of showing so many new machines, Wesman was also awarded the first prize among all exhibitors for best technology on display at the show.

Congratulations and well done to the entire FE team who worked hard setting up the stall and manning it throughout the weekend to ensure that the event went off successfully. A special thank you also to the factory team at Dum Dum Works for the excellent quality of workmanship and finishing detail on the equipment, many of which were built for the first time.
